![]() ![]() Otherwise, when workers form unions or get paid a minimum wage, that hurts the up-and-coming entrepreneurs who have families to feed. So how can the republicans be a party of the working class while still backing all those measures to fill the pockets of the rich and powerful even more? It's not them who are benefitting from ultra free market economics. I'm opposed to both, it's the only way middle class Americans can retain their economic standing. Together they’re only 1/6th of the state or so.ĭo you support unions and raising the minimum wage? That is true, but Waukesha County really isn’t all that big, nor is Dane County frankly. Wisconsin is an interesting state, everyone thinks it is destined to trend R and this may be correct but in theory Dems still have a lot of room to grow in Waukesha. It has also brought down NY from 30% wins to 20% wins, though for now Dems don't need to worry about the state, and frankly with NYC becoming more dominant, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. To a lesser degree, this could cause problems in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Maine, but all 3 states are more urban, and Dems can win with just the "urban" and "liberal" vote. Madison and Milwaukee wouldn't be enough to carry the state in a more polarized Wisconsin In 2024, will an effort still be made at all to win these areas back? It seems like if you don't stop the bleeding, Wisconsin at least could be a big problem since part of the reason Dems are able to win is because Republicans don't blow them out in Driftless. ![]() Like just remember in the 2020 cycle how all these pundits kept talking about the Obama-Trump vote and how important it was for Biden to appeal to them. However it's also why the big 3 swung so hard to the right after very solid wins by Obama. The states where this has the biggest impact are Ohio and Iowa making them out of reach for Dems, likely for good. Post 2020, the consensus seems to be these areas aren't coming back to Dems, but also they don't need them to win the electoral college. There's basically nowhere else where Trump flipped districts from Obama. All the Obama-Trump districts basically fit the picture of WWC districts in the midwest/northeast that are relatively dense rural areas, perhaps grounded by a midsized city or two. So, it basically means that I have to create the sequence by pressing the blinking buttons in a backwards order of the blinking.Īnd I can find what button to press next (the "corresponding button") (to lengthen the sequence) from the table, looking at the last blinking button. When I say the Obama coalition, I am specifically referring to a bunch of these relatively dense white working class midwestern counties where Trump saw pretty universal 30-point swings towards him in 2016 and many of which swung his way again in 2020 by a few points. (yes those answers are actually from the table red actually does mean blue and blue does mean red.) This pattern will get more complex as you go on until you finally finish it. Now it goes red then blue, so you press the corresponding buttons of blue then red So lets say the first blinking light is red the corresponding button to press is blue. Lets say you have a vowel and no strikes sooooo now you read the table. ![]() You keep repeating this a number of times until it is complete. When a light is blinking, you will read the table and it will say if X light is blinking press X button.
